Maura Higgins<\/a> and Pete Wicks<\/a> have been snapped seemingly heading away together for the festive season.<\/p>\n

After being photographed kissing in public a few months ago, the couple have been at the centre of romance rumours<\/a>, which only intensified during their respective times on I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026Get Me Out of Here! <\/a>and Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During her time in the jungle, former Love Island star Maura<\/a>, 34, spoke about their blossoming relationship, saying they\u2019d been friends for five years before Pete, 36, decided to try his luck and ask her out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although she initially thought he was \u2018delusional\u2019 Pete\u2019s persistence was eventually successful<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After now finishing their reality TV commitments, the pair have been seen on their way to what appears to be a romantic getaway over Christmas.<\/p>\n

As Pete packed her Mercedes with several suitcase, Maura was seen smiling ahead of the journey.<\/p>\n

The pair were each dressed for comfort, with Maura wearing her curly hair out with a black cropped top and jogging bottom while he was seen in a black and white jumper, black joggers, white trainers and a black beanie.<\/p>\n

Pete\u2019s luxury Porsche was also parked nearby.<\/p>\n

Although they\u2019ve been spending lots of time together since Maura landed back in the UK from Australia, they haven\u2019t confirmed they are spending time together over the holidays.<\/p>\n

But during a recent appearance on This Morning, Maura said that she does want to \u2018keep things private\u2019 but added she couldn\u2019t wait to see him when she arrived home.<\/p>\n

While on I\u2019m A Celebrity she also addressed speculation about their relationship and said: \u2018No, I’m single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.<\/p>\n

\u2018What\u2019s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don\u2019t know where it\u2019s gonna go, you know?\u2019<\/p>\n

However, she hilariously quipped despite their best efforts to avoid sparking romance rumours they\u2019d been \u2018papped tongues down each other\u2019s necks\u2019.<\/p>\n
