Katie Price has made her feelings clear on claims she misused a disabled parking badge.
It was reported that she risked a £1000 fine for displaying a blue disabled badge in the window of her vehicle. Her son Harvey qualifies for the government-mandated item, which allows owners to park closer to their destination, but it was unclear whether he was with her. The 22-year-old has a rare genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and partial blindness.
The former glamour model, 42, is currently starring in the pantomime production of Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court, and she reportedly parked her Nissan on the pavement when she arrived at the venue on December 29 with boyfriend JJ Slater.
She chose to cover her face entirely as she walked alongside the Married At First Sight star, 32, in the pictures of her walking away from the car that were obtained by The Sun.
It is a criminal offence in England to ‘misuse’ the badge, and doing so can lead to financial punishment. The government guidance states: ‘This includes people other than the badge holder taking advantage of the parking concessions provided under the scheme.’
However, Katie has offered an explanation as to why she displayed the badge in an impassioned rant on Instagram stories.

‘Just for the record, there’s paparazzi outside the theatre every morning trying to get pictures and because I’ve got Harvey with me, yes, he has disabled badges, and we drop him off around the corner then drive by the back door so he can get privacy for him and us going in and out,’ she began.
‘Because the paps aren’t getting their shots, they’ve gone to the papers to say we’re using the car with disabled badges but yeah course because we’re with Harvey and Harvey’s up here.’
Harvey has even joined Katie on stage during one performance and danced along to Wizzard’s I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.
Katie then said that people should ‘get over yourselves’ and stated photographers won’t be getting a picture of her. ‘Jog on dot com,’ she added to emphasise her point.

The model has featured in the production since December 8, with the final performance taking place today.
In the musical adaptation of the fairytale, Katie is playing an ugly sister alongside her friend Kerry Katona, 44.
The pair first met in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here jungle in 2004, but this is their first show together – their reunion has brought much joy to fans.
They clearly can’t get enough of each other either as they spent Christmas day together, and intend to keep the good times rolling by releasing a single.
Metro contacted Katie Price’s representatives, who had nothing further to add.
